Cathy Loftis Jackson

I got married two weeks after we graduated high school. It lasted almost six years. During that time I moved to Cookeville, Tennessee and attended Tennessee Tech University. After moving back to Dayton I worked as an Executive Secretary at Butler Heating Company on Springfield Street. That was the best job I have ever had and I will never forget the people there.

I work as a Paraprofessional in Special Education at an elementary school here in Cincinnati. It is the same elementary school my daughter attended.

After my divorce in 1981, I moved back to Dayton and I met my husband through a mutual friend. He was in the Air Force at the time. We just celebrated our 25th anniversary in January, 2010. I had been married before for six years.

I don't have a lot of memories of High School because I was out sick most of my high school years. I was so sick that I had to have tutors for some of my years in high school. My fondest memories are of Spinning Hills and Overlook.

I wish I could have been in school more and made more friends.
